Fellowship Program
Nuclear Security Fellowship Program
The Congressional Working Group is a partner with George Washington University, the MacArthur Foundation, and the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (an executive branch agency of the United States government) in the expansion of resources and expertise available to support this vital mission through the establishment of a Nuclear Security Fellowship Program. This program is in its fourth year in providing nuclear experts to serve Republican and Democratic members in both the House and Senate.
The Nuclear Security Working Group at the George Washington University is a non-partisan network of experts working to promote discourse and build consensus on the United States’ most pressing nuclear issues, ranging from 21st century nuclear deterrence to pragmatic nuclear diplomacy and preventing the spread of nuclear weapons. The Nuclear Security Working Group is made possible by generous support from the Carnegie Corporation of New York and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
